I installed this with sliders rated at about 200 lbs. I used 3/4" plywood for the tray. I then used 3/4" angle iron along the edge of the plywood attached with screws from underneath. This way the sliders are attached into the angle iron and not just into the edge of the plywood. I use an adjustable support under the generator just to take the stress off the slides and prevent vibration etc. I also have a canvas cover that is attached with velcro over the storage opening to prevent exhaust from entering the trailer. The generator is secured to the tray with steel straps that are pad locked under the generator making them almost impossible to be cut off with bolt cutters. It also has a pressure switch alarm under the generator which goes off if the generator is moved.
